Our jury selects every piece of artwork in the Western Spirit Art Show and Sale. They hand-select almost 200 pieces from a massive 500 entered works, creating a show that is perfectly curated for our audiences.
Chrystal is the co-owner and proprietor of the Western Stars Gallery in Lyons, Colorado with her husband David. There, she helps promote the works of over 250 artists and cosigners.
Michelle Sunset (she/her) is a curator at the University of Wyoming Art Museum in Laramie, Wyoming. She serves as the Wyoming State Representative and Mountain Plains Regional Co-Representative for the Association of Academic Museums and Galleries. Her research and curatorial work are driven by curiosity and social justice.
Guadalupe Barajas, a Wyoming native, focuses on wildlife and telling life stories of his Native American heritage through sculpture. He was an art teacher in the Chicago Public School System for over 26 years. Once retired from teaching, his career as a sculptor began. Guadalupe’s large commissioned artwork can be seen throughout Cheyenne, Wyoming and at his gallery, the Grey Wolf Gallery.
