Craig Tennant grew up in New Jersey and began his early art training in 1967 with Grey Advertising in New York. In 1970, he joined the staff of illustrators at BB&O Advertising and later started working as a freelance illustrator for an additional twenty years. In 1989, Craig moved to Colorado to focus on western oil paintings. He was soon commissioned for three Master Works by the prestigious Anschutz Collection in Denver, and shortly thereafter by Park Meadows Shopping Resort for a painting for the Nordstrom entrance. His work also resides in the Eiteljorg Museum in Indianapolis. He is a Master Signature Member of the Oil Painters of America.
