WyoGives is an initiative of the Wyoming Nonprofit Network, whose mission is to amplify, cultivate, and advocate for Wyoming's nonprofits.
We are so excited to participate in WyoGives, a 24-hour online giving day supporting Wyoming nonprofits happening on July 16, 2025! With the Hughes Foundation Incentive Pool, your donation goes even further. Together, we can continue to preserve and share our Western Heritage and culture.

New Education Room & Programming
The Museum is expanding its children’s room into a larger, modern education space that will serve both youth and adult programs. With double the space and upgraded technology, we’ll be able to offer more camps, interactive displays, and cultural programming.

New Interactive Exhibits
As the Museum grows, so do our exhibit needs. We are committed to upgrading and incorporating more interactive and immersive experiences, including a new audio tour that will help visitors engage with our exhibits in exciting new ways.
Support is needed for:

New sound and lighting: Create an auditory environment where visitors can hear sounds related to the exhibit and provide new lighting that can change the atmosphere for visitors.

Interactive Touchscreens: Featuring activities that allow visitors to explore.

Audio Tour: A new audio tour will guide visitors through exhibits, providing immersive storytelling and historical context. This tour will be available in multiple languages, ensuring a broader accessibility to our international guests.

Aloha Vaqueros Traveling Exhibit
In April 2026, the Museum will welcome the Aloha Vaqueros international exhibit, spotlighting the unique history of the paniolos, or Hawaiian cowboys, and their ties to cattle ranching in the American West. The exhibit explores how Spanish vaquero traditions blended with Hawaiian culture, creating a rich ranching heritage that connects to both Mexican and American practices, even tying into the legacy of Cheyenne Frontier Days™. On display from April through September 2026, this immersive exhibit will feature interactive programming, including live lectures, film screenings, and musical experiences.
The programming will also encourage active participation
from local groups, further enriching the community’s connection to the exhibit.
