Robin Laws

Robin Laws' love for nature began in a two-room Colorado ranchland schoolhouse and has remained constant throughout her life and art. Her ability to capture both the humorous and sensitive sides of animals in bronze has been praised by Bonnie Gangelhoff of Southwest Art, who also noted that Laws' work freezes their relationships, movements, and behaviors. James Mills, art editor for the Denver Post, described her work as "quietly striking." Laws has sold and exhibited her art in countries such as England, Italy, Russia, and across the United States. Her inspiration comes from the animals who live on her small ranch in Southeast Wyoming, and she created a sculpture in tribute to her dear departed animal friends who are now "In Good Hands."
