Miss Frontier Bronze Blessing

Join us for a special and meaningful blessing of the Miss Frontier bronze sculpture led by the esteemed Iron Cloud family, longtime cultural ambassadors of the Indian Village at Cheyenne Frontier Days™.

For more than 15 years, Northern Arapaho educator and storyteller Sandra Iron Cloud has shared the traditions, stories, and history of American Indians with generations of Frontier Days visitors. As co-coordinator of the Little Sun Drum and Dance Group, she and her family have helped preserve and celebrate Indigenous culture through dance, storytelling, and education. Their work reflects their mission to help visitors better understand that American Indian communities are vibrant, enduring, and an essential part of the West's story.

As Cheyenne Frontier Days™ recognizes 2026 as the Year of the American Indian, this blessing ceremony offers a meaningful opportunity to honor Native traditions while celebrating the Miss Frontier bronze sculpture and the enduring relationships that have shaped the Daddy of 'Em All®
