Audrie Mergelman

Audrie Mergelman pursued a master's degree in art, during which she focused on painting plein air agricultural landscapes and wrote her thesis on the significance of preserving these homesteads from an environmental and historical perspective. However, she soon realized that her true passion was painting horses, and has since dedicated her work to this subject matter. Over the years, Audrie has painted thousands of horses and is deeply committed to capturing their form, gesture, and nature through various painting techniques. Her efforts have been recognized and supported by prominent art shows such as the CFD Western Art Show, the "America's Horse in Art" exhibit at the American Quarter Horse Museum, the Mountain Oyster Art Show, the Goodnight Barn Art Show, and the Colorado Governor's Art Show.
